Ok, so i finally downloaded greymatter for blogging, i would just use html, like before, but ive decided i want special stuff liek comments lolz :P
So anyways, I followed every direction slowly and carefully, chmoded everything right, made my configurations correct, did the diagnoses and repair, and oops, theres my problem, heres what it says:
greymatter 1.3
Error Notice
Can't read /web/thezeppzone/cgi-bin/blog/gm-authors.cgi. Make sure this file is in the same directory as all your Greymatter CGI files and is CHMODed to 666, and that your Local CGI Path is pointing to the correct place.
But yes, it is in the same directory as everything else, it is chmoded to 666, and yes its in my cgi-bin(obviously), and the first line thingy for perl is in the right spot.....so....what is wrong then? Im just confused, ive tried different things, jeesh i have a cgi guestbook and cgi tagboard, and they arent even in my cgi-bin, they are in my regular /thezeppzone/tag and /thezeppzone/guestbook directories, so i just dont get it, i have tried it in and out of my cgi-bin, and change the configuration when i do it, but i still get the same error regardless. I'm sure theres atleast a few of you out there that use greymatter, and if not, and you think you use something better(non-php), preferrably cgi, what do you use? Greymatter seems to be popular so i figured id try it out, btu, err its kinda not working lol....
