What is it that you are doing on the fourth? I am going to have a party with friends and family, then go out on the lake.

All my family is coming over, we're going to swim and barbecue and such, then the ones who live far away are staying over. I wish we were having fireworks but our town cancelled them this year :(

My uncle is throwing a big party, like he does every year, and our whole extended family will be there. It's good fun except that Im the only teenager there, so I have to hang out with old people and little kids:)

My parents got some fireworks and were going to shot them off the house boat. It is going to be so cool, unless we get caught.

I'm Canadian, but I put having a party because I'm going to a baby shower. Otherwise, I'd just be on LEIA like any other regular day.

I'm going to my Grammy and Pappap's house at the beach... and there I'll be riding in a small parade in their neighborhood with my unicycle :)

By the way, does anyone know why it's not letting me vote on this poll?

Nothing really. My dad will undoubtably make hot dogs, hamburgers and stake(great, now I'm hungry...eh...I'm always hungry) on the grill, and then later on in the evening, we'll go and see my towns fireworks. Otherwise, I'll probably just sit around on me laptop all day.

who says you can't party? :P if anyone asks you why you are, just tell them you're celebrating the 4th of July. do you need a real reason other than that? :P

I don't think I'm doing anything- my town doesn't even have fireworks. they have them for the town weekend thing in September, but not July 4th. my town is so backwards lol

I don't know yet, it depends. I'll probably go somewhere to see the fireworks or go to the park and do sparklers. :)

I don't know. I'm probably going to sleep until 11:00 or so, like I do every sunday, eat whatever my dad grills, and ignore all the patriotic stuff.

going to my grandpa's tomorrow just for a boring family thing. Sunday im going with one of my friends and his family to his step-moms sisters house. They live in a subdivision and they have a house by a big lake-ish sort of thing. Its inside the subdivision but its really big so i dunno what you wanna call it. Anyways, about 5 or 6 houses every year put a few hundred bucks into it and then they go down to ohio and buy some sweet (real) fireworks. Technically they are illegal in michigan, since they buy the airborne kind, which are illegal here unless its like a city-wide event. Lol, but they live on that lake-ish thing so thats why they buy the big guns. I bought some cheapo $20 package with about 15-20 things in it, i wanted to buy the $30 one because it was really big, btu didnt want to spend another $10, so my friend is gonna pick another $20 package up so we have more, plus i paid for them last year too, i know its nice of them to invite me in the first place, but, this way we will have more for the night :) Ive went the last 3 years. We are usually there until like midnight-1 am, and they live an hour away, because the adults do what adults do at partys so we oculdnt leave for a while lol, so we do some little firework stuffz at that time :)...yeh, done rambling now :)
