Ok, you guys know your stuff pretty well, so maybe you can help me out :/ I'm using tables, and I was wondering if there's a code similiar to the..

filter:alpha{opacity=whatever}

but not quite. When you use that---it makes your background transparent and LIGHTER. Is there any way to do it in reverse? That keeps you background transparent but makes it darker? Or any code at all that does that?

Thanks,

don't think there is.. unless you make the table/div background some kind of dark color, but make it translucent, so the background shows onto the div, but darker... that's what i did for one of my layouts...
