I thought it was a hoax when I first read it, on the-leaky-cauldron.org, until I saw what she had written on her site.

lol, the first time i read the article, I thought the name of the book was Harry Potter: The Truth. I was thinking "What a cheesy title cmpared to the other ones" haha, I got it now:)

Apparently, HP was intended as a boy's book, so she used her initials so boys would read it. (Understand where I'm going? It's been a long day of watching small children)

Ooh, I'm happy! I had thought for so long (until she denied it some time ago) it was going to be "HP and the Green Flame Torch"...

Green Flame torch? kinda redundant, I never thought shed name it that because she had already had the goblet of fire, it would have been too much fire.

I don't think it was intended for a certain gender. You're probably right about her doing it so boys would read it too, though.

They also changed the name of the book from 'Sorcerer's' from 'Philosophers' in the US because they thought no one would read it.

Novinite was reporting in 4-5 months for the release date, but they also said Viktor Krum had been cast like 3 months before he was. All the people in the comments section of the site were like "what?"

I just want her to take her sweet time, and get it done properly, instead of rushing out with a book that may not be up to scratch...

I have a few well thought out suspicions for the remaining books

1. The HBP to me is going to be Neville. He IS a half blood and his courage and bravery is becoming more and more evident

2. There will be a point where Malfoy has to choose to be evil w/ his dad or to save Harry(or somthing good natured like that) and he will choose the good side

3. Ron and Hermoine WILL end up together. I have reason to beleive so because in many plots the two sub-characters end up together and the main one meets the love of his life.

4.Harry will end up alone at the end. It is so b/c like spiderman, w/ great power comes great responsibility. There will be a connection b/w Harry and a girl but harry will realize that he cannot take it further, b/c he is aware of his responsibility

5. Harry may end up sacrificing his life and in turn wipes out both himself and Voldemort

i dont think Neville could be the half blood prince.. both his parents had magic

he's just not very good at some things.. i think the HBP could be.. Seamus -- isnt he the one that said in the 1st book "i'm half-n-half, me dad's a muggle. nasty shock for him when me mom told him she was a witch" or something?
