well i never have posted an answer cuz i thought it was silly but its almost like the adam and eve theory like the evolution thread we have...

....i think...
....egg because if you think about reptiles that were here before them, but you cant have a chicken without an egg to begin with so????????????.....unless a checken came cross breed from other animals and then it began laying eggs so who knows. We dont, theres no answer or no one would ever ask this anywhere, its too far back in time...

I say the chicken, for religious reasons.

same :D if you believe in god... then you would believe that god created all of the creatures... then they started breading.

I think the chicken makes more sense.. I mean something has to look after the egg right? Its not like you can throw a baby in the woods and expect for it to fend for itself. Babies are very dependent :P

Technically it's dinosaur. I mean, the dinosaur had an egg, and so the egg was firster (great spellers are turning in their graves) than the chicken. But the dinosaur came before the egg so the dinosaur.

I have no idea what I'm saying, forgive me. I'm kind of just mad because there's no Whose Line tonight.

seb just mushied my brain!

But i think the Chicken came first! Religious and practical reasons. Egg couldn't survive by itself!

technically speaking, might they have come about at the same time? I don't know about chickens, but in humans, aren't females born with all their eggs? if that's the case for chickens, then as long as you have a chicken, you technically have eggs as well...
