Help!!! I am trying to put my flash animation made with "Coffeecup Firestarter" on my website. I am using Geocities, and everytime I upload the file which is "serenity.fire" it says "invalid filename". Why is it doing this and how can I fix it??!!

I think that it is because of the .fire ! Geocities probably does not support that and so it won't allow you to upload it to your account.
But I'm not sure. I'm not the expert. tell me if i'm wrong

I don't use coffeecup, but doesn't that program generate an .swf file just like Flash does?
With flash it works as follows:
you create a .fla file, that's the file you actually work in.
Before you put it online, you "publish" it.
When you press publish, it generates a .swf file.
This is the file you can put online.
