OK, my dad teaches History at a local University as a teaching assistant or something. And at the same time he's working on his PhD. He wants to get a job as a professor somewhere. He applied for one at a community college right near here, and has a 1 in 4 chance at getting that, and a university in New Mexico, where he has a 50/50 chance at it. :) I sure hope he gets one though, because I want a new house REALLY bad lol! Plus the pay at both those places is way better.

Yeah I know, but it's just because the community college won't call him back to tell him whether he made it or not. They said they'd call him a week ago and tell him how his interview went. :rolleyes:
