ok, i just got done reading the guild for putting backgrounds in tables....but I can't seem to get it to work.

she said to use this tag

<td style="background-image:url(yourfilename.gif)">

This is the one i want the BG for....

My question is, where does it go....and what exactly do i type for it to find and use my image.

i'll try to make it easier...my site is currently hosted at "www.aloofhosting.com/srclan/" the image is named "gray.gif" i have an FTP as well, but i'm not all the sure how to use it.

Any help is welcomed

if you replace yourfilename.gif by gray.gif it would mean that the image would have to be at:

http://www.aloofhosting.com/srclan/gray.gif

and there is no image there. Where is the image exactly?

you have to
1.Connect to your server with your username and password
2.You have to upload your index file and grey.gif to your main directory

If you arn't sure how to use your ftp client, look for some faq's for it
