what exactly are you having trouble with?

you will need to be a little more specific.

php is embedded right into the html. thats all you should need to know. then follow the instructions. how hard is it for some to read something. instead they have to come onto the forums and ask when it is literally right under their noses. lets just put it this way.

<? if ($read_manual == "true") {
echo "Hey you read the manual, yu get how to do it, thank you for reading the manual instead of asking someone to tell you to read the manual!";
} else {
echo "you didnt read the manual, and you asked someone to tell you to read the manual. please do not ever do something like that ever again. Thank You";
}
?>

have you read the page on PHP inclusion to see if that's any help, since it does list knowledge of PHP inclusion as a requirement?

yes, dude, 5 times AND ive used that before. and for the RUDE (That is still considered masked profanity!) before dude,
Just because a person hadnt done much with PHP doesnt mean they havent read the tutorial. I read each word 10 times and didnt understand it becaue I'm just beginning PHP . GEEZ! You don't take a play from Shakespear and hand it to a 7 year old make him read it and give him a 15 page quiz on it 10 minutes later do u? I DONT THINK SO.

If I offended anyone, you have my sincere apologies, if you want me to explain my abrassiveness, im me via aim - charmingangelorg.

Oh and I found a different tutorial, that explained things more clearly and I didnt have much trouble with that one:) You can also IM me for the easier tutorial

Thank you all for your time and patience
