im getting sick of expage and all the stupid pop-ups, so i decided to move. since diaryland is free and i know how to work it (simply) i thought that might be a good idea.

anyway, my question! i want to use diaryland like a website not a diary. but i cant get it to work so that every time i access the page it comes up with a main page - its always the latest entry. how do you stop it? does it involve becoming a gold member?

I don't think you can stop it, even if you become a Gold Member.

You could always try emailing Andrew (the owner).... andrew @ diaryland. com to ask him if you can do that.

thats all i cn remember. i KNOW flatface.net has no ads, and they are a great host as well. lol but one catch is it is a real hassle signing up to it. but it is the best free hosting there is out there. the others i am not to sure. when i used 1asphos.com i had a lot of problems with the control panel, so i would go with one of the other two.

I myself use http://www.freewebz.com/ no ads, only a small link to them that must show somewhere on your page ('cept I don't have it cause I payed them for more space *muahaha*), and you get 100MEGS when you first sign up!!!!! 100MEGS FREE!!! :D
