I've coded my body tag to make my link color #9999CC, and it was all looking fine until I got near the end of the coding. Then for some reason one of my links turned yellow. Now refreshing the page sometimes throws up other yellow links, in html that I haven't touched and that was working perfectly before. Can someone tell me what's wrong? I don't know if it's relevent, but the first link that turned yellow was an anchor link.

the links colors seem to work. i am presuming you are talking about the page you have linked to your WWW button on your post as you did not specify any other page address in your original post.

I've managed to sort it out now - took a lot of fiddling and retyping of things, not actually changing anything as far as I could tell. Maybe it was a cache problem with the browser or something. Anyway, thanks.

I know that none of the links work - the site is still under construction.
