I think I did something wrong but I don't know what!!
My lake picture doesn't work...
can anyone help me...I';ve uploaded lake.class. so I can't figure it out!!

This might cause the problem:

<center><applet code="lake" width="250" height="326"><param name=image value="lakepic.JPG"></applet>


you have lakepic.JPG and JPG in capitals. change it to normal letters .jpg like this:

<center><applet code="lake" width="250" height="326"><param name=image value="lakepic.jpg"></applet>


if this doesn't work then check how you saved the image. Do you have any capitals in the word lakepic ? if so you have to type the name EXACTLY like you saved it. Ohterwise save the graphic again as lakepic.jpg if you are not sure about it then you know it will work

it still doesn't work...I don't understand...
when you open my site, it says, class:lake not found.....at the bottom
and I did upload it.
HELP!!!!!!!

Do you got the .class file in another folder? where is your page located? the .class file and the page must be into the same folder in order to work

they're all in the same directory...
I really don't get it....
it stays grey where the pic should be,...

I just looked at your coding on your page. It seems as if you 'lakepic.jpg' is not in the /images/ folder as you coded it. I did find lakepic.jpg in the root folder. Take out images/ from the line

Nope...that didn't work either....
how come it doesn't work....

Did you unzip the file before uploading it?

try filling in the whole url for the image that has to show up

If you have Lake.class uploaded on your server replace

<applet code="lake"...

with

<applet code="Lake"
