For the trial version, when you start it up, it asks for your email/home address. Is it okay to type this in, or will they spam me continuously(sp)...?

no i dont think jasc will spam you, but if you dont feel safe just enter your friends or something, they probably just will use your email to send u a newletter once a month saying of new things there coming out with

They'll probably just send you a welcome letter.....then after a while, they'll send you promotional newsletters asking for your money, lalalala. If I were you, I'd sign up a free email (yahoo/hotmail) and use it as a spam recipient. I have one email solely dedicated to questionable sign ups.

If your ever "scared" of signing up for something, do what epolady does (a special email box) or read the Privacy Policy.

lol do not get paint shop pro. i was extremely disappointed. anyway for a fairly good graphics editor go to http://www.gimp.com it should have everything you need out of an editor for now. also make sure you get the windows version, i dont think you will be able to use it when it as the ending .tar.bz2 on it...lol (that is a *ix type system compression type.

i don't think that was her question anywayz, and i never heard anything good about the gimp. for you PSP was dissapointing but for us it's enough. we don't look for all the 'neat' stuff, we just download some extra brushes ;)

anywayz, for the question: if you start up the program for the first time, they will ask your email and stuff. There will also be a little box saying "do not send me bla bla" if you check that one, you will not receive any email from them in the future ;)

Okay, thanks! Oh...it turns out I downloaded Animation Shop 3, not paint shop pro. I'm in the process of making a whole bunch of blinkies before my thirty day trial is up...

lol most peole havent even heard of the gimp. anyway it works AWESOME for linux. but i have never used it on windows. anyway i was jsut saying since it is free and has a lot of the featurs of psp and photoshop, i was saying get that instead of paying $150 plus for it. though like i said earlier i have no idea how the gimp runs under windows. (i said it in another post). I am just saying it is doing a wonderful job under linux, i am extremely happy with it. on another note. photoshop is much better than psp.
