Sorry. I need to know the difference between web hosting and a web domain. I want to get the site www.deadlyasparagus.com but I don't know the difference between hosting and domains...:P Stupid moi.

Domain - A series of alphanumeric strings separated by periods, such as www.someurl.com, that is an address of a computer network connection and that identifies the owner of the address.


Hosting - Basically a company is -hosting- your domain, ie giving you space to put a site up. You can read more about it here (http://webhosting.yahoo.com/ps/wh/info/p1.html#Q1).
