...but the menu in all internet explorer windows are not showing up (File, Edit, etc.) and the space for the web address/URL. The only menu bar that's showing up is my Yahoo! menu bar, and I basically have to get to different websites using yahoo! search, which really sucks. So, if anyone can help me (I'm sure it's a simple solution to this problem, but I suck at technical stuff, when it comes to computers), I would greatly appreciate it. :D

Right click on the Address bar and a menu should pop up and check mark the thinks you want back. (Click on the outer sides....don't click on the part where you type the address in.) Sorry if that doesn't help.

that can only bring back the home, stop back... buttons and the address bar, not the file menu etc

you didnt download anything before this happened did you?

try running ad-aware and a virus scanner if you have one, this fixes most problems like this caused normally by spyware on your pc

I downloaded ad-aware 6.0 and ran that, and I'm about to do a virus scan. I started having problems after updating my old version of Real Player (this Google menu bar and pop-up blocker was automatically installed, and after I restarted my computer, everything except for my yahoo! menu bar disappeared).
