I am new to making layouts, and I recently downloaded a trial version of psp8, and I am new to using psp too. And i was wondering, how do u make a layout in psp (w/ css)? is it hard to do?

Well css is a stylesheet that's seperate from making "A layout".. Css is how you get a shortcut on adding your fonts/link colors/ect. To make a layout in psp is not hard. I make my layouts in psp 8.10 and animation shop 3.10!

It depends on what kinda layout you want.. iframe or frames. My favorite is iframes cause you can make one big picture.. frames you will have to make seperate pieces!

so u make the layout (or background) one big picture or whatever you want it to be in psp and then u add the iframes and css and html codes and stuff separate on your document and position them and when its finished you have a page w/ a layout pic in the background and the frames and stuff is postioned on it and thats the big "layout". please tell me i got it right??:confused:

yes that's correct :D it's usually just a background image with boxes drawn on to it, and then actual boxes of content are positioned to fit over the boxes in the image. the image actually doesn't have to have boxes, it can have areas where the boxes of content will go. and yep, that's it. hopefully i didn't confuse you :P
