Okay this is my problem I've run into.

I use LJ(livejournal) and on my user info I wanted to post this animated image. Alright, so I find a site to load it on(picturedot.com incase you wanted to know), but it doesn't show the animation. Is there some kind of extra tag you need to have to make the animation run?

No, there's no extra tag.... Did you happen to open it up in another program and resave it?

does picturedot.com allow direct linking? (direct linking is bad by the way...stealing bandwidth..tsk tsk tsk...)

check the filenames if they match....
check the url and see if they match...

if you're still having problems...
give us the link to your LJ so it could be checked out... :)

Well I figured it out... so it's all good now.

And picture dot is made for that purpose I believe...
