I made a layout using paint shop pro, and I saved it as an HTML file, and I wanna upload it onto my website (I use tripod), but when I went add HTML it will only let me write in an HTML code, not upload an HTML file...get what I mean? So.......anyone know how the heck I can get this onto my website?

Tripod won't let you upload HTML files? How evil!
How about opening it up on your own computer in NotePad or something like that, Copying everything, and then pasting it into the text editor on tripods site?

Ok, I opened up my layout in notepad, and then I copied the code. I pasted it into tripod, and all that comes up is a red X. Ugh, what am I doing wrong!!!!

Paint Shop Pro isn't an HTML program, it doesn't do HTML for you. You have to do the coding yourself in tripod for it to work.

Yeeaah, you got it.
You have to upload the layout image into your tripod account.

tiny_dancer, my suggestion to you is to take your time.....learn HTML. It's quite simple once you get the hang of it...Start with the "Basics" section of Lissa's site, and keep going through it. Write your HTML in NotePad and upload it with FTP (there's a tutorial for that on Lissa's site as well), or just write the HTML code on Tripod itself. Keep referring back to the site, or this message board if you have any questions

you have to browse your computer and click upload in order to upload the image, but you also have to know where you saved it and u cant upload anything on the internet with spaces or it will not work (heard it from boomspeed) try changing the name of it
