Don't use animation, because it will look ugly and put people off because it distracts people from the content. You could also do some text effects, like make it 3d or distort it. Don't go to over it on bright colours and make sure you can read the text easily. You can make it easyer to read by adding a boarder. When you save it, try not to put it on too low quality because that can cause it to blur. But remember to keep the quality average, because on high it will take longer to load on slower conections.
