Right, I have some experience with html and stuff, but I still can't figure out how to get my site online! I've got my site on notepad so to say, and I have my provider, but I don't get how to get my site "showing" my html.

anyone understanding me?

who is your website provider?

because with siites like geocities and freewebs you just create a new page, and put your html info in there.

You need to upload it, you can either use your file manager on your site provider or use an ftp client and connect to your site and upload your files.

But check and make sure your host supports FTP first, or else there's no use to get an FTP program, unless you decide to move with one that does.

Do you have your pages on your host`s server? If you do, then you should name your main page (the page that you want everybody to see first when they enter your site) index.html.
