View Full Version : Anyone know a good font? megabenman 05-30-2004, 03:02 AM Ok, I'm puzzled by this: trying to find a good font to fit this (http://www.megabenman.com) page. Thankyou! Ps. Can you tell me the html needed? Cherchezlafemme 05-30-2004, 03:11 AM try just randomly browsing www.dafont.com you never know what you might find ;) Makar 05-30-2004, 04:01 AM Dafont...haha, that's great. I've never heard of that place... Yo Megaben, just be aware that if you choose a wacky font as the text for your website, chances are not a lot of people are going to have that font supported on their computer and it's just going to show up as Times New Roman or whatever for them. shadow252 05-30-2004, 04:37 AM You can find the code to add a font to your site at: http://www.lissaexplains.com/html.shtml#font Rosey 05-30-2004, 05:09 AM what makar is saying is that YOU may have "crazy font" on your computer and when you view your site, it will work for you but if I don't have "crazy font" on my computer, I'll see the default times new roman when I view your site. You can embed your font but I think that only works in IE. Makar 05-30-2004, 03:17 PM Ooh, how do you do that? ham_let 05-30-2004, 04:50 PM or: if you still like the font and u want everyone to see it, put all of the stuff that you want the font to be in- in graphics. considering how much work that'd be, that should only be for titles and stufferz... Cherchezlafemme 05-30-2004, 05:00 PM I think you should also try www.1001fonts.com they have them in better categories. |
