I really like this tutorial.. I see it on a lot of head-banners.

1. First, open a banner you want to apply this to. Than, of course, choose a font.

2. Type in your text, than click on another tool to get rid of the text tool. Than, in the layers pallete, duplicate it.

3. On the first text layer, lower the opacity to 0.

4. On the duplicated layer, select Multiply as the blend. You shouldn't see anything.

5. Click on the circle that has an F in it on the layers pallete. Click on stroke.

6. Pick a color. Pick a size - 1px is best. Choose inside, outside, or center. It seems as if 'Outside' works better with this. Now, you're done.
