I just downloaded the trial of Flash MX before I wish to buy it. I first wanted to know what it was like, and all that.
I find flash a bit hard, and don't really want to read the help files. (I tried but it just keeps on talking about the same things). So I would like to buy a book about flash. Which books would you recommend?

Flash for Dummies is said to be very good.
I personally got a much cheaper book, but it's in Dutch. It had more or less the same info as the tutorial that came with Flash, so I might as well not have bought it and just gone with the tutorials.
Hope you have as much Flash fun as I do!

Duh, you are from Amsterdam LOL.
The book I got was from "Easy computing", called Snelgids Flash.
I also visited a lot of websites that had free tutorials, found them pretty helpful actually.

Great, i was thinking about that book. But I wasn't sure if it existed.
I went to media markt, and they only had the dreamweaver one. Since I have dreamweaver I decided to buy that book, and it was very useful!
BTW what would be those free tutorials. I'm interested in Flash and would like to learn more about it. Right now I'm following a few tutorials on actionscript.com
Dank u wel!

there are a few free tutorial sites, they have been mentioned on this forum a couple of times, try a search perhaps.
I used to have them all bookmarked, but that was in the days before the big puter crash hehe. Oh well.
Actionscript.org is my favourite, but the whole actionscripting is for the somewhat advanced users I think.
