Hey everyone!

I'm having a problem I can't seem to figure out.
I'm using an external style sheet for a site and everything works perfectly on my desktop. However, I need to put this site on diaryland so therefore have to link the images and css and the .htc file to different web space. Everything works EXCEPT the transition! What happened? Am I just super tired and missing something?

this is the link for my css file
http://www.verityweb.com/swingkid/style.css

and this is the htc file
http://www.verityweb.com/swingkid/pixelate-blurexplosion.htc

yes it one from an earlier post.

I don't understand why it stops working after being linked online.
Please help me!

when you ue .htc files the host where you want to use it on has to support it and as far as i know diaryland is just a free little host that has limited things that they allow :) The diary is hosted on THEIR space so that's why. You could try to find someone that wants to host your site and use www.blogger.com instead to blog your messages with, in that way your site is hosted at a domain and most domains of now allow .htc files :)

actually, interestingly enough and i should have added this, but the htc when linked doesn't even work on my desktop anymore. My domains are hosted with doteasy.com and I'm using that web space for the file.

So the problem is that when it is linked to the file online, it doesn't work even on my desktop, however, when not linked online, it does work.

Hence my confusion =/

They have to be on the same server to work, so if you want to use the transitions on diaryland it has to be uploaded at diaryland....but you cant upload .htc files there so theres nothing you can do.
