I'm swiftly progressing to finishing my .net fan site. After learning numerous of image edit programs' techniques and various touch ups, I'm ready to code my layout. However, I'm not sure how I would go about doing this. I've made an example (http://www.boomspeed.com/eb0nie/GooGraphicEG.png) of one style that I'm interested in learning. From the many encounters of other domains, I've found that this is a very common style. From viewing the sources of some [Oops] I've seen that many layouts are "cut off" at a certain point and the rest of the layout, referring to the bottom half, is entered as a image.gif background code. For instance, this is a perfect example. If you click these three examples --> here (http://www.vision-gal.org/layout.jpg) --> here (http://www.geocities.com/jhene_fanlisting/TJFL3.jpg) you'll see totally diffrent sites using the same methods. Can someone be kind enough to give a hand?? Tips?? Perhaps recommend me to a layout coding tutorial?

I've also seen people add layouts on they're sites who's totally clueless of FTP. How do you get a layout on a site with out the uploading progress on a FTP Program??

I don't know the answer but I sure hope you don't use that purple picture in its present form, it is 1.07 MB. Perhaps if it was resized and made a jpg.
