HELP! I'm lost in cyberspace and spinning out of control.

I downloaded a free FTP from download.com. CyDFTP, it has a high consumer comment rating but because I am new to this I have absolutely no idea how to proceed.

Can anyone walk me through the step one needs to take to upload from my HTML code from Notepad or direct me where to go for SIMIPLE instructions (I have a domain name and have signed up with a hosting service).

First you have to connect. Put in your username and password into your FTP program. then put in the address of your webhosting. It should be in their Terms Of Service. Then you should see your files on one side of your FTP program. Then you'll see your files on the other. This is where you take your notepad file. Either double click, and that should start it, right click and press upload. It should take a couple minutes depending on legnth, and then you'll see it with your other files on your server's side.
