Hey there! I'm dying to know if there is a way to use the mouse fireworks *specifically* in a journal/blog setting (such as in livejournal.com or deadjournal.com)

or, if anyone could help me figure out the script for this sparkly/glittery crosshair effect over links like this jounal has:

i've learned a lot of cool stuff to alter my journal, but i haven't found anything that explains how to do that! i'd be eternally grateful for any ideas!

The sparkly bit in there is just a remotely-hosted image set as the hover attribute in her CSS. (If that didn't make any sense at all, seeing I don't know how much you know, check this (http://www.lissaexplains.com/css.shtml) page.) I assume you know how to do overrides? It would just go in there. :)
