i have an iframe in a window, and i want the iframe to have a transparent look, so the background image of the actual window it lays in shows thru the iframe with a filter. if someone can help me with this please?

and another, i cant seem to target my links into my iframe. they always end up opening another window. someone please help me with this too~

for your second question, make sure the TARGET and the NAME values match.
TARGET goes in your links.
NAME is in your IFRAME tag.

for your first question, here is a forum search that turns up many results...

please try to provide a bit of quality to answers. the question is pretty clear.

<iframe src="http://www.geocities.com/anxplicit491chic/am.html" name:"am"; style="position: absolute; left: 150px; top: 80px ; height: 300px; width: 400px; "; scrolling:"yes"; frameborder= 1px dotted; allowtransparency="true" ></iframe>

here is your fixed iframe code...

<iframe src="http://www.geocities.com/anxplicit491chic/am.html" name="am" style="position: absolute; left: 150px; top: 80px ; height: 300px; width: 400px; border:1px dotted;" scrolling="yes" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

you had some = missing and a bit of other coding mishaps.
