i havent gone to six flags before but my friends say its soo much fun...but they're tall enough to go on the good rides :mad: :crying: :grouch: i don't like most themeparks because i'm so short that i get stuck on all the kiddie rides and never get to go on all the fun ones that are actually worth going on...o no i'm sorry you need to be this height to go on this ride....:( water themeparks are better though...because all the ones i go on are for my height....:)

We don't have a Six Flags in Minnesota... Which bites! But the closest one is in Illinois... We do have a couple amusement parks (one is namely VALLEY FAIR!) I LOVE rides, though. Especially Roller Coasters. ^_^ ... Ok--since we all don't live by Six Flags or been there before, how about this... What's your favorite amusement park ride (or kind of ride)??

NITRO, NITRO, NITRO.

(at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey)

I've been there twice, once for Physics Day and another with a friend of mine, and I'm going back this Friday again for Physics Day (this time with my Principles of Engineering class)

But anyway... Nitro is the tallest roller coaster on the east coast (230 feet, with an initial drop of 215), and it gets up to 80 miles per hour...

for anyone that ever finds themselves at Great Adventure- avoid The Great American Scream Machine like the plague (and be frightened by the "please remove earrings" signs)- the whole ride your head gets banged back and forth against the restraints. although I was kind of amused because just before I went on it they had to send one train through empty because despite being banged against the restraint, someone from my school found time to throw up while on the ride :P

And yes.. I hate The American Scream Machine too... I had a major head ache after it.

9 times??? wow... I threw up after like 7 lol

I've only been on roller coasters those two times (so both at Great Adventure), and the second time, I went on Batman The Ride, Stuntman's Freefall, Runaway Mine Train, Rolling Thunder (I'll never forget, when I was there for Physics Day [so with all other high school students- it's closed to the public those days], the first time I had been on roller coasters, although that wasn't the first one, on the lift hill the kid in front of me turned around and repeated "we're all going to die" because it's so rickety), Skull Mountain, Nitro twice, then Medusa. I threw up after Medusa... I don't know if it was the 7 roller coaster rides or the Dippin' Dots :P

I can't wait until Friday :P the only problem is that I could go on so many rides the last time because we got the speed pass things because the tickets were free (the girlfriend of my friend's father's co-worker got them from her employer or something lol), but I don't know if the place to get them will even be open on Physics Day (they didn't even have it the last time I was there for Physics Day), and I don't know if I'd do it because I already had to pay for the admission ticket, plus I'll be paying an arm and a leg for food and all that there too...

I don't think I've ever thrown up on a ride... Wait..Ahh, yes, now I remember. I ate this cheese-filled corn dog right before I went on this spinny roller-coaster....BAD MOVE ALYSSA, BAD MOVE.

well I've never thrown up while on a ride (and I'm sure the people that have ever been behind me are glad), I threw up at the bottom of the exit ramp off Medusa :P I remember the first time I rode Nitro I almost did on the exit ramp (I was fine until I saw the remnants of someone else's bad experiences :P).

but apparently the second occassion on which I rode roller coasters my stomach wasn't as weak, because I was able to go on Nitro twice in a row with no problem :P

maybe this time I'll try for 3 :P they told us it would and last time on physics day, the park kind of thinned out after like 4:00 or so- apparently most schools leave around then, so the lines are shorter later on. my school is probably one of the farthest away that goes, so you would think we'd leave earlier, but I guess they figure we're already going to be getting back late, we might as well stay :P but I don't really mind, we take coach buses down and back, so the ride isn't bad, I feel sorry for the other people because when you get into the parking lot it's full of school buses- but they are probably closer to it so it's not as bad, but still :P

Well, I barfed AFTER the ride. Thank goodness I didn't though...the people sitting around me would be very mad!! ^_^;;
