I am so sore all over. 3 days ago, I tripped over my little brother,(he ran in front of me) and hurt my back, Then I stood for an hour downtown passing out tracts, then I help put 1500 books in mailboxes(walking into apartments, waiting for the doors to open(they are all locked here, mailvoxes inside, we wait for someone to open the door)) Then I helped my Mom garden, our huge huge huge yard, and then I carried 5 boxes around the house(well, not around the house, just from my room to underneath the upstairs stairs) and then I helped rearrange our office, which is the size of a garage, and had to move 4 desks, 2 file cabinets, etc.... Now I have to watch my 3 and 5 year old brothers!!! And tomorrow, I have to ride in a car for 5 hours!!! Oh dear!

Hmm...I always used to feel that way when my gym class made us do the mile run. Just goes to show how out of shape I am. :P And I'm sure it'd be worse if I were to do it today.

A nice hot bath is the perfect remedy for aches and pains. :)

Walgreens is a drug store- it's a whole chain of them. as far as I know, they're nation-wide in the US at least.

if I were to attempt to walk to my nearest Walgreens I'd probably die. 1) because my road is dangerous, and that's before getting onto the main road 2) it's really far away (walking, anyway). it's like a 15 minute drive. if I could make it to the end of my road, I might be able to walk into town, but even that's iffy :P until you get right into the middle of town there aren't any sidewalks, and I live a ways away from where most businesses and stuff. so in short, I can't walk anywhere. I'm sick of living in the middle of nowhere :P

oh yeah...I didn't know that's what ya meant. It's like a mini-dept. store, you know? We have a bunch of them in Minnesota.. It's on a busy street, but, it's ok. It's like a FIVE minute drive, but it's like a 45-1 hour long walk. Jeez. I need my license already.

After fencing in December, I was limping around for nearly a week. And of course, since I was staying after school nearly every day that week, I had a long walk home from where the after-school activity bus dropped me off... and to top it off, we had a pep rally that week. Sat there for an hour, couldn't bring myself to get up for a while. >_<

Hopefully you'll feel better soon. I find a nice relaxing bath or shower helps :) .

you have to keep moving. It hurts, yes, but not nearly as much as it does when you try to get up....

that car ride...*shudders*

I'm kinda sore because I was part of a Civil War Reenactment this weekend. We reenacted the Battle of Cold Harbor. It was so cool though because Sixth Company (the one I was in) got assigned skirmish duty, so we got the totally unscripted part.

The worst soreness from a Reenactment was the Mifflin Guard School of the Soldier, which was our Battalian's (Mifflin Guard) Boot Camp. The Rifles are a good 10 pounds, and the main marching postition is should Arms, meaning holding your rifle by the trigger guard with one finger. Plus standing for 5 hours marching might do something to you.

That must have been fun. Ouch, though.

Anyone want to try lugging my backpack around? My back is killing me. See, all (actually, most) of the classes that require the really big books and binders and things are before lunch, and I can't get to my locker between the time before first bell and lunch. (fifth bell) so I have stuff for five classes stuffed into my backpack. Of course, days that I don't have after-school stuff is even worse-I'm lugging EVERYTHING that I need to do my homework in (for my first 5 classes), plus everything I need for 6th and seventh bell, because my locker's so far away from my seventh bell class (and my orchestra locker is also far from my class AND my regular locker) that I can only afford to make one trip without missing the bus (or cutting it reeally close. </anti-backpack rant>

What helps me when I'm sore is to take a break and relax on the bed for ten to five minutes or get a good night rest.
