i said no to a 1966 beetle project because

1. there was NO bottom
2. there was hardly any sheetmetal
3. look at number one

the kid wanted 200 for it...i was laughing at him

i was also searching for a 1976 volkswagen golf gti(rabbit gti in the usa)
but kind of gave up...i know a 1969 beetle that i want but costs to much....

someday....(big sigh)

I think they look kind of ridiulous (when do the clowns pile out? :P)- they're just so gosh darn small...

my neighbor has (had? I think he may have sold it) an old (I don't know what year) black Beetle...

now I think his latest little project is tinkering with his late 70s Trans Am- my dad always drools over it when he has it out of his garage because he had one just like it (also black with gold trim/whatever you want to call it), only like a year off (I think my neighbor has a '78 and my dad had a '79 or something)

I like to look at them...but I don't really wanna drive one....The new ones I like..the old ones are ...I don't like them.

beetles are OKAY if it's a young person, like a teen driving it... but if OLD people are driving it... then it just looks ridiculous!

Yeah, the old ones are really cool! As for the new ones, there ok... i think they just happen to "fit" some people better then others. Also i think they are more of a "girls" car then not!

There's one car that looks good in orange, and that's one of the old Beetles.

One of my 'friends' (we stopped being friends a while ago) has a green bug. Very cute car (I'd get a blue one, if I had to) but I don't think I could drive one. (Maybe I'll get a blue mini and get someone to paint a giant union jack on the roof, just to...be weird...)

i like beetles. a very unique car...

I'm going to buy myself a Beetle Convertable someday and cruise while blasting on the oldies. =D
