I grew up with a cat who was a year older than me, but she died about 2 years ago. :(

The only pets I really had that were mine were: tortoise, goldfish, and finally my own cat.
I got my own cat for my 13th birthday and it was the best present ever! I've been bugging my parents for my own cat for ages, but didn't think it would actually happen for my birthday. lol

Anyways, she's about 8 months old now, a Norwegian Forest Cat mix, and her name is Anastasia.

Okay sorry, back to the present. :D

i got tons of cats (but not all at once) but now i got one. We use to have tons of stray cats here, and we adopted one and it was usually a female cat. so it had kittens every year. but then we ended up keep on giving them all away. so 2 mama cats, and then the black/white or siamese cats disappears (i think they were kidnapped) and the pampered cats gets like strange diseases, and there's my mama cat, who swam across the creek that's behind my house and yeah either ran away or died cuz she was so old. i have only her son now, he use to be really fat too, and now he's all fighting with other cats and feeling sad cuz he has no mate. no literally he cries out at night, no female cat is attracted to him. unlike his mom she attracted so many male cats! k back to LEIA...

I have 2 kitties, and 1 of them is really my baby!
then she jumps on me when I'm behind the computer and puts her paws behind my neck and she makes a movement with her paws like kittens do when they drink milk from their mom.

No they're NOT! Well, apart from our youngest, Buffy, but only some of the time she's evil.

Maybe you can get an outside cat. Just let them wonder around in the backyard or around the neighborhood. Then the cat will come back for food or to visit. :)

Chickens are safer than cats. I am very afraid of my friend's demon cat...
