hey i designed a site for someone and i put their site on angelfire just so they can confirm with me the layout and all the stuff on the site. anyway, is there a way for them to view their site without using a free web hosting service with all those pop up adds?

I know most ppl have a laptop and you just bring your laptop to the person. I'm not that advanced yet

Hmm... I don't know of any other options, but would it be okay to use a free host without ads? If so, www.freewebs.com is good for the most part.

You could put the HTML in notepad, and save it as whatever.html. Then when you want to open it, just goto the file and click it. You can send it to them VIA email. You can also change it by going to view>>source. Once your done, exit and click save. That should work.

But it won't show any images unless they have the images on their hard drive and in the exact location. Just remember that... :)

If the images are in the same folder, you just need to put the name of the image. :)

You can upload the images personally in YOUR server, like photobucket.com, those img hosting, and change the scr to the images in the html notepad file. That'll probably work. ;)

if you really want to be serious and do more of that in the future, you should get your own domain name and use that for your own site and then you can upload their site like www.domain.com/client

and they can view it there.
