In Feb. 2003 We Got Up At 3:00 a.m. And Drove To Where His Unit Was Leaving From. We Got There At About 4:30 a.m. And We Gave :hugs:, Kisses, And Finally, Said The Last Goodbyes. My Mom Was :crying:, And So Was My Aunt.
My Uncle's Unit Sat In Wisconsin For Over A Month, And Finally Went To Iraq In April. He Stayed All Summer(150 Degrees Farenheight)And Winter(70 Degrees Farenheight). Then He Came Back To Wisconsin Early THIS April, And Came To The Place He Had Left From A Year Before. The He Came To My Grandma's House And We Had A HUGE Party For Him.

That's great news :D I know exactly how you feel (my cousin got back in late December). However, he didn't get a part because he wasn't able to visit :( I think he may be sent out elsewhere again. Anyway, I'm glad to hear your uncle's back safe. It's scary, isn't?

I started yelling at my brother like an insane person when he said he wanted be in the army... I don't believe in war.

wars are...stupid. a really good quote from Calvin and hobbes:

oooh i'm so happy for you!! my dad just came back from indiana. he left on sunday night, but i still missed him :lol: it's very tough when a family member, especially that close, leaves :( but it makes you appreciate their presence so much more when they come back ;) anyway, glad he's back safe! :)
