Hmm...I don't know how many people here use Windows XP, or if other versions of Windows or operating systems have this feature, but I was just curious to see what your six most frequently used programmes are (the list that pops up when you click the start button). Mine are:

1. Paint
2. Fireworks MX
3. Ulead Photo Express
4. Notepad
5. Dreamweaver MX
6. Microsoft Word

I'm surprised MS Paint is number one...I didn't think I used it that much... :P

I don't think it lists the most frequently used programs there, actually. It just moves up when you use a new program.

5.) Microsoft Office Excel 2003 (I use it to keep record for my Neopets shop :stickout: => :nerd: )

I have Internet & AOL Email pinned to the top part other wise they'd be numbero uno y dos.

1. RealOnePlayer (odd, i dont actually use that i use WMP, only have that installed so i can listen to radio1)

6. POW! (popup blocker)

1) AOL 7.0 (everyone in my house uses 9.0 :rolleyes:)

2) WordPad (I do all of my HTML here)

3) RealOne Player (I like to listen to music while I work, lol)

4) Paint (I don't even use this anymore... I'm sure PSP8 would be here if I always opened it from the menu instead of the icon in my folder)

5) Windows Media Player (my brothers use this)

6) Calculator (lol. My mom does her banking and things in the like on the computer sometimes; also, I use it whenever I'm using DIVs and such to set up my sliced layout).


I'm sure the list would be a bit different if the first five weren't pinned; however, they're pinned for a reason. :D

Yeah, heh...the default number is six but you can change the number of programmes listed. Well, six is fine with me, usually I have my most frequently used programmes a shortcut on my desktop. I only access the top three things on my list through the start menu. :P

I'm actually surprised Anvil Studio (MIDI programme) isn't on the list... :confusion

On my parent's login thing, the one I used before I made my own, there are 3 MS word icons pinned. :lol: Shows how much my english teacher makes us write.

Sure I don't have WinXP, but I can still say the top used programs :P

Adobe came out with it after 10, so I guess it's kind of version 11 :P

CS stands for Creative Suit. it's not the 11th version it's the 8th version of Photoshop :). You also have Illustrator CS. And ImageReady CS, wich is included in Photoshop CS. They just liked to name it differently i guess :P Instead of numbers, they tried characters :P
