Do any guys here have Xanga?
I've been debating on one, but i think what i really want is a personal website..

what is yalls opinion on this?

Well I'm not a guy, but I have alot of guy friends that have xangas.

Xanga scares me to death, and I don't even know what it is...

Naaah. I like making my own sites better. I really like looking at Xanga sites though, I think it's cool that some people can make all that! I would go with an Xanga if you can make more then one page, but I really want to make my own website. For someone that just wants to blog though, I'd go for it! I think it would be a lot easier then trying to make your own if everything you need is right there. :D

I like doing everything from scratch on notepad it gives you a sense of accomplishment to know you did everything yourself :D

Personal websites are always better than something like a xanga or livejournal (or anything) anyways, because you can personalize them better. Xanga is one of the worst sites to personalize that I've ever seen anyways, you'd be much better off on livejournal or even mindsay.com, they're alot easier to customise.
