do you have the death ball thing on because if you do then thats the reason...i think it's because you have to somehow go off your course to get the ball and by doing that can get hit by a ball and either die...or get hit on the head.... if you don't want to have that problem just change deathball to off on the main screen...but by now i'm guessing most peope realized...
