i never quite understood what bandwidth is. is it how many visitors visit your website and if too many visit they'll use up your bandwidth? and also what is a bandwidth stealer? i know these are stupid questions, i have an idea on what they are, but i want to know exactly. thanks!

bandwidth is how much data your site transfers over a given amount of time. it's measured in bytes.
each time a visitor visits your site, your bandwidth increases by how big your site is (images, text, etc).
a bandwidth "stealer" is someone who directly links something from your site such as images, mp3s, etc.
