I would rather be cold instead of hot...

For me, I'd be much happier if I was cold with layers, then sweating w/ no clothes on. You can always warm yourself up, but not always cool down. haha'm usually warm, I'll be wearing shorts and a tshirt when it's 40 degrees out :lol:

Believe it or not, I'd have to say hot. A lot of people I know say cold, since you can put things on, but there's a point where you can't take much more off, lol. I've lived in SO California all my life, so I like the heat better.

Hot! It's always cool around my house...never warm enough for me, so I'd rather be hot.

Cold obviously, you can only take so many clothes off regardless where you are, but you have little limit to what you can put on if your cold :)

Cold, also. As said before, it's easier to get warm than cold.

I picked hot because I was thinking about it like you couldn't layer up or layer down. Hypothermia, Kicker? You can also die from heat stroke.

Id rather be cold...im always hot and buring up even when its 50 outside :/

That's why spring and fall are my favorited seasons. They are hot, but cool too.

I so used to always being cold (my hands feel about the same temp. as frozen food right now :P), so I'd much rather be hot :P As soon as I can, semi-warmer climate here I come.

I'd much rather be in the heat! No coats, no gloves, or scarves! Plus, in Canada we had a massive snow attack in the middle of winter. Lol. But yea, I'd much rather be hot then cold. :D

i vote cold b/c i'm ALWAYS cold, so i've gotten used to it.. and all i gotta do is get some blankets or a sweater to warm up.

I can't really say I'm used to one or the other, because where I live the climate is Temperate. In the summer, we hit a 100, but in the winter we are down in the single digits and below XD

I do have to say natural born southerns (well in the US, so natural born warm climaters) you people really aren't that resistant to cold! Well atleast what they show on the news. When we were in the single digits, they showed an interview with a woman in florida, and she remarked that she "had to turn the heat on and get out her sweaters and pants...it's 60 degrees here come on!" It was 60 today...I was in shorts and a Tshirt haha

I'd rather have neither...But if I had to chose, I'd go with cold...I mean you can put a bunch of layers on in the winter...and in the summer...there's only so much you can take off... Blegh, I hate hot-ness. I like it around this time of year.

Scary but true, Les Paul. Recently it was in the 40's and I was wearing a scarf and gloves in addition to five layers of clothing (outside). I think the coldest I've experianced is 18 degrees :lol:

i'm usually cold even when it is about 80 degrees out lol.. im always cold.. but its comfortable.. to be a cold person out in the heat b/c then you're just perfect lol

I would rather be hot. I chose hot because here in the Midwest, the temps change often. We get the extremes each year. Warm is better!!! You can't play baseball in the snow:)

Personally, I would rather be hot....just cuz......you can't play sports like soccer in winter......and out here it can get REALLY cold!!!

Cold, because the sports I do aren't your usual soccer and tennis. Hiking and climbing are just as much fun in the freezing cold :D

Although the French Alps in Winter at midnight is pushing it even for me! (I was a bit chilled in my t-shirt - lol).

I think i would rather be cold, becasue as many have all ready pointed out, you can eaisly put more layers on, then take off. However, being at the beach on a nice hot sunny day with a glass of lemonade, and whole bunch of hot chicks sounds really nice right now! LOL! :cool: :lol:

hot...but not humid...if its humid then i say cold...you all are saying you'd put clothes on...if its hot/cold why don't you just put the heater or AC on it would be much more convenient than wearing or taking off lots of clothing....

but wait...if you choose cold and then wear a lot of layers arent you actually choosing hot...and if you choose hot and go into an air conditioned room, or in a cold pool...aren't you choosing cold...way too confusing :S

You can't bring a heater or AC everywhere with you. When people say they rather be cold, that's because they can put on enough clothes to be warm. When people say they rather be hot, that's because they can cool off to a nice temperature with a minature fan (I used to have a hand-held one that squirts out water). In the end, everyone wants to be warm, I guess :D

I much prefer the cold...it live in the desert and when it gets up to over 100 degrees, I start to get light headed, tired, sticky and nauseous. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten heat exhaustion before. Blegh. The cold wakes me up and makes me feel energized.

I'd rather be cold than hot.. when I get to hot I feel faint. When cold I can put clothes on..

I'm torn, I'm kinda even. I love being toasted in saunas and so on, but like during footbal practice I hate being in MISERABLE heat. I kinda prefer the cool weather and cloudy seasons. I dislike the sun.

lol. I voted for cold because you can put as much layers on as you need, sleeping or standing or playing volleyball. But you might look like a penguin and also waddle like one. But looks don't count, right? RIGHT?

I'd rather be too hot... I absolutely hate being cold! It doesn't matter how hot it gets I'd be comfortable, but if it's cold, it's not comfy at all! :)

cold. cuz when it's hot u get sweaty and io don't like that!! also it's easier to get warm than cool off.

Cold is better. Cold is more calm! and then after being cold, warm is more rewarding!

Cold. I'm used to it. My family is running low on cash so my mom turns off the heater. The temperiture(sp, dang! i never spell that right..., never remember either) is allways arounf 55 in my house.

I prefer to be cold, but not too cold, because I don't like hot weather I can't stand the 30s or 40s °C! I like overcast skies, temps between 5°C and 20°C, and light to moderate winds.

the last couple days have reminded me how much I dislike being hot- it's been really warm, and I think that's the main reason I've gotten a full night's worth of sleep- over the course of 2 days. it's been so hot (I've tried keeping the window open, I've tried the AC, neither are effective) and I haven't been able to sleep... it's so much easier to get warm when it's cold...

I like being cold. I can always throw on a jacket, but I'm incredibly intolerant of hot weather.

It's easier to get warm when you're cold than it is to cool off if you're hot. Plus when you're hot, you sweat and there are few things I hate more than sweating.

um... dude128, you deleted my message and the reason was old thread . you posted something just today. that's a month later than i posted.

you brought up what was at the time an old (make that a VERY old) thread- I posted in this one because it had some new interest after it was brought up. if it was just one post, I or any other mod would have deleted it.

why does everyone take everything so personally?
