So im applying for a job tomorrow, my second time. I applied at the library like 2 years ago 'dont call us we'll call you', guess who never called me lol. Im applying at a new Kroger store going in, like 2 blocks from my house. It was weird I drove by it today with my mom and I told her I needed to go this week while I was off to apply since its new and they finally put their now hiring sign up, but then I was talking to one of my friends and he had went today to apply lol. I guess she said they could use someone his hieght thats young but then asked how old he was and hes only 15 and needs to be 16, so shes like come back in a year we could use someone that tall lol. But yea so anyways by the sounds of it I have a good shot I guess they are looking for younger people...so yah...appling tomorrow hopefully Ill hear back heh.....

heh well, we were too busy painting today so we never got around to it and by the time I figured we could go we thought that the trailer might be closed by then so were going to go tomorrow after lunch. Yea, so ty all hehe. Im sure they are looking for teens to push carts and bag groceries i think ill have a good shot, plus being good, getting good grades, polite, and in no trouble with the law helps lol.... :P

and I would imagine it's the same way with any regional chain. I'm sure there would be confused people if I mentioned A&P, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, Key Food, FoodTown, Grand Union (although they went out of business, now one near me is a Key Food, another is FoodTown, and Hannaford bought up a bunch of them), IGA, Price Chopper, and I know there's another supermarket near where my brother goes to school but the name is escaping me... wow, we have a lot of supermarket chains here :P

I'll need a job this summer- I should start looking now. but without a car (yet :P), I'm pretty much limited to CVS, A&P, and Key Food. yay for living in the middle of nowhere! :P

welllllll.....they open on the 27th and i applied tuesday or whatever and still have heard nothing...pfft hopefully she calls this week or shes a dirty liar lol

don't dispair yet, I have applied to many jobs in my life, and them taking much longer to get back to you does not necessarily mean they are not interested.

yea, true...its just that they start in 6 days and would still need to go through drug tests, training, etc.... :/...but no hope isnt lost yet just faded a bit lolz

You could call them instead. Even if you didn't get the job, you might make a good impression ("he's really interested and enthousiastic, he really wants the job"), and that can't hurt if they need someone in the future maybe?
