For some things, you need a GIF picture. But when I make on in Paint, it uploads it as BMP. I have Print Shop, is there any way to make a GIF picture in that?

Print Shop? Do you mean Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop? If so, you can do a google search for whatever program + gif. If you're using one of those, you should have the file option of saving as a .gif format.

If you want the easiness of just using paint, then use Giffy. [search google] its a program where you upload your *.bmp and then you hit a button and it makes it a *.gif
You can also go from a *.gif and change it to a *.bmp Its very easy, and it condences the pics. for you. I have it, and it wokds great. :D

I'll give you an easy way involving no converters. When you goto save the image in paint, right under the file name is says SAVE AS TYPE, just find *.gif in there.

Not neccesairly. It just depends on what type of graphics you're using. And LesPaul59 is right. Just do the save as option, rather than plain save. It should be set at "24-bit Bitmap (*.bmp;*.dib)". And it's a drop down menu...with stuff like JPEG and GIF. It's pretty easy.
