Hey I'm from Canada, does anyone know of any Canadian Domain name places? It costs too much to get one from an American company. Also I'm looking for paid web hosting (possibly one that comes with a free domain name) doe sanyone know of any good Canadian ones? Thanks! :)

Doesn't matter if the company is in canada or not. namecheap.com is 8.88 per year, stargate.com is 7.50, I hear you can get on at ev1servers.net for 6.50. Doesn't get much cheaper than that. As for hosting with a free one, micreauxtech.com payed for my domain name when I first signed up, and their hosting plans are pretty cheap, but not so cheap they go out of business and take your site with it.

I don't think where you're located will change the price in hosting (well, unless they have extra fees for certain types of payments). However, you can search here:

They have the option of searching by location for hosting.

thanks guys but the payment is actually a lot more if you live outside the states. whatever the us price is it's time 1.3 because of the stupid exchange rate now. urgh. anyways thanx for all your help

It's not hosting only the domain name. I suggest www.cleverdot.com . They are international based company so almost all currency are acceptable. It costs $7.77 per year and i got discount $4.40 per year for 5 years. :)
