It's a .gif file - where one image after another appears. Like a slide show. To make it "blink" you would just have a slide with the text and then a slide without and then a slide with.. etc.

you can't use paint shop pro for animated images, you'll have to get a free trial of animation shop pro here: www.jasc.com [or buy the full version ;)]

you do what lovely said, but the image with the text in one frame and then make another without it. you don't have to make more frames because the animation will automatically repeat itself. if you want to change the blinking speed [because the default speed is pretty high], click on all the frames while pressing the shift key and then go to animation > frame properties > and change the number of seconds [or milliseconds or whatever] :)

Thanks! I'm in the process of downloading the free trial now (which I might buy after the trial runs it's course :rolleyes: ). Is there a font that is normally used for avatars/icons/etc.?


EDIT: Also, do I create the image in psp8 and then open it up in the animation program?

hmn.. usually pixel/bitmap fonts fonts [there are a lot to choose from]

I know how to add brushes downloaded from the internet to psp8 for use, but where do I add the font file I downloaded?

Also, I was wondering if there was a site online where I could download textures for psp8? Or is there a site where I could specifically download brushes?
