i dont use notepad cuz i dont get to preview my work so i use instead yahoo html editor...the point is i dont see what the point from using notepad cuz alot of ppl on the net do...so why is notepad good???

You do get to preview your work with notepad if you save it correctly then you can edit it and keep checking to see if stuff has worked. Notepad isnt dead good its just a text editor where you can edit your website or whatever you do in notepad.

If you save your work as NAMEPAGE.html and then look up the file and double click on the icon then it will open in a same kind of browser like any internet page opens into and you will be able to see it. So you view it from your own computer, it's not online yet! You are the only one that can see this.

i tried that but it still opens in the notepad window!

did you saved it as .html AND selected "all files" when saving?
i guess you had the notepad thing selected *.txt but you haev to click on the dropdown box below the "filename" field then select "all files" and then save it
