In PSP8 I'm trying to write the word Welcome! and have just that word and no background appear on my website where I placed it. So what I did was created a new image and then with that grey and white checkered bg I wrote the word, changed it up via 3D Graphics>>Inner Bevel and saved it. But when I checked how it looked on the site the word was in a white box. How do I make that white box transparent, or better yet, how do I make the white box disappear all together?

you have to save it as a .gif file :)

Start off with a coloured background rather than the psp transparent one, make sure its a colour you dont use anywhere else in the image, make sure its selected as the background colour then go to
colors > set palette transparency > set to current BG color > ok

where is "colors" ?? :confused:

on the top bar thing, between 'effects' and 'layers'

Wow, I feel stupid, haha... I don't see the color thing between effects and layers.. I only see 'adjust' and nothing about transparencey is in that *confused*

Nevermind I figured it out!
