I was working on something in Paint Shop Pro 8 and I have no idea what happened, but it's starting to act like it's not really there (the image). If I shrink the window I can work on other things, and if I have the window up I can continue using the tool (pen tool) I've selected, but I can't select anything else (undo, layer, color, tool, etc). I was thinking maybe I hit something or... I don't know! But if you could get back to me soon it'd be very helpful.

Edit: What are the odds that I post this and two seconds later it starts working? Oh man, I don't have any clue how it fixed, but I tried hitting other tools again and for some reason it's working now... Thanks anyway I guess. Sorry about that... Well, I suppose it would be helpful if anyone knew what actually happened so I can prevent it happening in the future, but it's not vital for me to know :)

might have just been your computer. On my old computer, psp really slows it down and makes it do funny things.

Ahh! It continues on happening. I have no idea why. It shouldn't considering my computer is new and such. I think it's when I right click while drawing something with the pen tool. And then it'll do that weird thing, and then if you try something else it'll saying something about "error x-number can't handle x-number" (not exactly, but you get the idea), and the program will stop responding.

Happened again :grouch:. Here's what it says when it messes up:
"Unhandled exception, code = 1400, what = An undefined error has occurred - 1400"
Gah, any thoughts on what the problem is would be helpful. Thanks :)

Could be not enough memory for what you're working on. Just a guess.
