i have some animated images saved as .gif that i uploaded onto my website as .gif, but when you try to save them, you can only save them as bitmaps! is there a code for this???!!!!! i need help please!!!!!!!!

it probably means you are using IE for your browser and its internal CACHE memory is full.

go into the tools, internet options and clear your temporary and history parts. you may then have to restart your computer and you should be OK after that to save as GIF again.

i emptied my history parts temporary files and i jus restarted my computer and they still won't save as .gif!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go to the website : click (http://geocities.com/xpsychedx/aim.html) please let me know if it works for you!!!

those are gifs to me. what do they show up with and like kicker said, what program are you using?

i still can't save them as .gifs! well it's good then that it's working somewhere else at least...............i make them in adobe photoshop and imageready to make them

what filename do you save them as? and, just wondering, why do you need them to be .gifs?
