I am new to this forum. Looks like a great place to learn just about anything you need to know about anything to do witht the web!! Just what I was looking for.... lol.
I would like to save a graphic that I drew as a png file, because it doesn't look great as a gif. I have tried exporting it as a png file but I can't get it to be transparent?? I drew it in PSP. It has a background even though I chose use existing layer or transparency?? I am not sure what you check on the upper part of that transparency tab.... Please help.

I'm not positive, but I thought that pngs could be transparent. Have you tried going to Colors>>Set Palette Transparency?

Not all browsers support PNG transparency so it's very likely that it won't appear transparent. I'm assuming you'll be using this online somewhere.
