How do you make a text area that allows visitors to your site to put their comments in? Like a comment box i guess?

You mean a tagboard? or a comment system? the best is to just sign up with one online that's the easiest way to get it to work.

That's a tag board. If you go to the [2nd] link posted above you can sign up for one and they'll give you instructions on how to include it in your page.
