well im making my webpage and one of the sections is buddy icons and i type in the HTML to send it to the buddy icon thing and when i do that, the url doesn't start with http so it assumes that it should be http://www.geocities.com/sweetiepie8451 and i want it to not do that, do u kno how to prevent it?

but the code starts with like aimbuddyicon:asdlfkjasdkfj and stuff after it so it send it to the buddy icon, but it won't prevent it from putting http so it doesn't work

For my site geocities wasnt a very good host..... It didnt let me do lots of stuff. And I saw ur site it has pretty decent content, wat are u waiting for? GO TO PICK-ME.NET (http://www.pick-me.net) and find your self a host!

I hate Geocities, or another name that would be vulgur, which I can't say here. I guess all I can say is they scam you, if you sign up for a free account they give you only a little bit of bandwidth so little, that it's hard to run your site. Partly because they want your money. One of the reason is that you have a free sever is because you want experience. You don't want to spend money when your inexperience, right. Well, basicly Geocities is made up of greedy pigs who only want your money. I know I sound harsh but that's the truth. Basicly every server is like that though, I'm not just picking on Geocities.
